Weekend fun

Friday night ended up pretty interesting. I met my friends Heather and Whitni at Wild Wings for a few drinks. That lead to us trying to decide on somewhere else to go and joking I suggested Hooters. Bad idea, because that's exactly where we ended up! I had only been to one other Hooters and I really wasn't impressed then so I knew I wasn't exactly going to have a blast at this one. Of course we were the only girls in there, aside from the waitress's. We had one drink and ordered some fried pickles then were out of there but not before we documented it. Here's us with our waitress.

Saturday I went to the First Flush Tea Festival out at the American Tea Plantation. I drank way too much sweet tea, ate tons of junk food and heard some great music. I even got my learn on and took the tea plantation tour and learned how different types of tea are made. Very interesting actually. And did you know the American Tea Plantation is the only tea Plantation in the whole USA?! Pretty crazy! Here's a pic from the festival.

On Sunday, after Theo and I finally rolled out of bed, we went to get brunch at Fat Hen. Brunch is my favorite meal but I swear it may of been the best brunch I've ever had. I got the crab cake benedict with bacon and cheese grits. It was literally too good. I'd show you a pic of my yummy meal but I was too busy scarfing it down to even think about taking a picture. I'm a super fast eater. You'd think it was my last meal.

I just finished reading this

I'm a huge Rachel Zoe fan. It was actually a good read and had some great fashion advice. Obviously she lives a VERY different life than I ever will but she still gave great advice on what to wear to certain events and how dressing up and taking the time to look nice gives you that extra boost of confidence. Here's a quote from her "If you show up looking a bit more glam than the rest, what's the worst-case scenario? You look the best in the room?" I love that quote because I grew up in a home with a mom who wouldn't leave the house without a full face. My grandma, who won't even leave the house for a week, puts makeup on everyday and always looks like a million bucks.

Speaking of Rachel Zoe, I've been eyeing these sandals since last summer and now they are finally on sale!!
But they are out of my size! :(

Here's a happy thought to start my 2nd night of work
