Linking up for
THE GOOD LIFE BLOG

1. {READ}

Balancing on one foot in heels will curve your shopping addiction?? If you see me in a store doing the tree pose you'll know why.

2.  {LISTEN}

This is the catchy song in the new Starbucks commercial. You know the one that goes "nah nah nah nah I want to go surfing."

You're welcome for getting it stuck in your head all day.

3. {BUY}

I know I'm getting a lot a little head of myself but we weren't really home for Christmas last year because we got back from our honeymoon on the 23rd, big mistake, so I didn't get a chance to decorate our house!! And like a very wise person my friend said "You should buy them now when you have money because once Christmas comes you'll be broke!" Sounds like a plan to me!

This is going to be mine

And Pixie too!!

4. {WATCH}

If you're a scary movie freak like moi, go see You're Next. It's like The Strangers  but better. Basically a family comes together for their parents wedding anniversary and while they're sitting down for dinner all of a sudden an arrow shoots through the window and kills someone! It's really not scary, more fun.

5. {EAT}

I saw this recipe online and the tagline was "Easy weeknight dinner. You're new favorite recipe?" so I clicked it and it's spaghetti pie (yum), with ricotta cheese (double yum), and BACON (falls out of chair)! No wonder it's your new favorite recipe! I have yet to make it so someone please do the honors.

{Spaghetti Pie}
Serves 6

Ingredients

- 1 pound spaghetti
- 4 strips bacon, chopped
- 1 large (10- to 12-ounce) red onion, finely chopped
- 1 container (15-ounce) part-skim ricotta cheese
- 4 large eggs
- 2 cups milk
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt
- 2 cups frozen peas

Recipe

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. Cook spaghetti as label directs.
3. Meanwhile, in 12-inch skillet, cook bacon on medium 6 to 8 minutes or until crisp, stirring occasionally. With slotted spoon, transfer bacon to paper towels to drain. To fat in pan, add onion. Cook 4 minutes or until tender, stirring occasionally.
4. While onion cooks, in very large bowl, whisk ricotta, eggs, milk, cayenne, half of Parmesan, and 1/4 teaspoon salt.
5. Drain spaghetti well. Stir into ricotta mixture along with peas, bacon, and onion. Spread in even layer in 3-quart shallow baking dish. Sprinkle remaining Parmesan on top.
6. Bake 30 to 35 minutes or until set.

  2. Yes to the scary movie!!! Love those stockings! Get them while you can. Just a suggestion, you may want to purchase an extra one or two just in case they discontinue them and you have "additions" to your family.... I'm speaking out of experience.

  8. I highly doubt anything in this world short of a miracle from God could curve my shopping addiction. I don't have very good balance anyhow. Have a good weekend!

  10. LOL girl I don't know if anything will cure my shopping addiction, haha.

    I am horror movie junkie, but I didn't think "you're next" looked good. I love the paranormal scary, not gorey. Was it gorey? And it was more fun than scary?!
