1. {READ}
You think you're doing the right thing. You wash your face and take off your make up every night before you go to bed but you're face still isn't flawless. This was me before I realized dairy was causing me to break out. Check out this article on 8 Foods That Are Ruining Your Skin. I wish I was kidding but the next day after consuming a lot of dairy I always wake up with a few new pimples, it sucks!

2. {LISTEN}

I've had this song stuck in my head all week. Maybe because it's just that good. Or maybe because it's super catchy. Either way I like it. I'm really liking all the Pharrell / Daft Punk songs. You might remember their first one, a little song called "Get Lucky."

3. {BUY}
Since it's been a little cooler out I've been wearing the Joie Ashlee Tee daily. I own it in Dusty Pink and Striped. I swear it is the best shirt to wear with skinny jeans and flats. So easy to throw and go and it always looks great. I'm not going to lie it's not a cheap shirt but it's very good quality and will last for years to come. If you're looking for a cute casual shirt this is it. It's actually a pretty hard shirt to find but I was able to find it on a few websites.

this is the long sleeve version

this is the one I own and I love it. For size reference I wear an XS because it runs on the big side.

4. {WATCH}
This Summer camp skit with Jimmy Fallon and JT is adorable. As I was searching for it I had no idea it was one of many! The newest one is of them singing Hootie and the Blowfish. Hootie aka Darius Rucker is from and lives in Charleston so I just had to show this skit. I love that they reference Topanga!!

5. {EAT}
I made this soup last night after I asked Theo what he wanted for dinner and he said "Buffalo Chicken Soup!" Being the great wife I am I searched Pinterest and found an easy recipe. I know soups shouldn't be hard to make but sometimes they have so many ingredients in them I just give up. This soup has very few and most of them I had around the house. If you want to get brownie points from your significant make this soup, he'll love you long time!

serves 2 as a meal, 4 as starter
Ingredients
2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 8-10 oz), cooked and shredded I boiled the chicken then shredded it
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 sweet onion, diced
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 tablespoon flour
32 ounces low-sodium chicken stock
1/3-1/2 cup buffalo wing sauce I used Frank's Wing Sauce
1/3 cup freshly grated cheddar cheese
1/4 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
sliced whole wheat baguettes, toasted with parmesan cheese
sliced green onions Didn't have any, crumbled gorgonzola I used Blue Cheese, they both taste delicious and cilantro for topping Didn't have any

Recipe
Heat a large pot over medium heat and add olive oil. Add onions with a sprinkle of salt to the pot, stirring to coat, then cook for about 5 minutes until soft. Add in garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes more. Sprinkle in flour and stir for another 1-2 minutes. Add in stock, buffalo sauce, chicken and grated cheeses, stirring constantly. Bring to a boil, then reduce and let simmer for 10-15 minutes, stirring every so often.
Serve soup and top with toasted baguettes, cilantro, green onions and gorgonzola.
Enjoy!
