Thankful

With Thanksgiving in 2 days I decided to be totally cliche and do a What I'm Thankful For post. Then I saw this Ecard and almost decided against.
Then I remembered it's my blog and I can write about whatever I want!

{Theo}

This is our first Thanksgiving together as a married couple so it's extra special. December 9 will also be 8 years from when we met. Marriage has not been easy and I know everyone says that but it really is true. It's so hard being 2 hard headed people coming together and having to agree on money, our house, and just our new life together. But as mad as I get at him sometimes, I really can't imagine him not being in my life. I love him so much and we have been through so much together. He's a wonderful daddy to Pixie and treats me so well. I really have to thank him for helping me get my finances in line too. I tend to shop a little too much and he's taught me it's better to save and spend your money on something really special than wasting money on clothes just to pass the time. So thank you Theo for being such an amazing husband and always being patient and having faith in me when I screw up. I love you!

{My Mom}
My mom and I have gotten so close as I've gotten older and that makes me so happy. We are so different, although we may look identical, but I think that's what has made us closer. We're both so honest with each other from clothes to conversations. My mom raised my brother and I on her own until she married my step dad and I always admire her for that. My mom has truly become my best friend and I hope she knows how much I love and appreciate everything she does for me. She's the best grandmother to her granddogger Pixie too!

{My Family}
I'm so fortunate to have such a close family that all gets along so well and everyone lives near each other. I know I'm also very lucky to have my grandmother still. I love everyone in my family so much and love that every year almost everyone is able to make to our family beach house. I look forward to seeing everyone this holiday season!
I'm also so very thankful for my new family!

{My Friends}
As every girl knows we would be lost without our girlfriends! As much as I love my husband, the bond you have with with your girlfriends is something very different and very special. It can be very hard to get together now that we all have our own families so a night out with the girls is something I cherish so much. Any girl who says they aren't a girls girl, is no friend of mine!

{Pixie}
I love this pathetic little girl like she's my own child. Sometimes I really think I gave birth to her. She's the sweetest, cutest, most loving dog and Theo and I say everyday we couldn't imagine our life without her. She keeps Theo company 3 nights a week when I'm working and always there to snuggle with me when I'm sleeping crazy hours during the day. There's not a better feeling in the world than coming home from a stressful day and seeing her little tail wag and greet me at the door. If it was up to me I'd have a house full of doodles than I remember what a demanding dog Pixie is and how miserable she would be if she wasn't the only child. And we don't want to upset the little girl!

{Our House}

We were so lucky to have even gotten the house we did. It was way more than we could have ever hoped to own. We're in a great neighborhood and a great location. Only problem with our house is when the time comes to move it's going to be really hard to find a house as great as this one!

I found this on Pinterest and thought it was really neat
