Wednesday's Obsessions- Recent Somethings

Today I'm having my friend and family member Shelby from Recent Somethings share her Obsessions!

Shelby is married to my cousin Trey and from the time they started dating we instantly loved her. Her blog is always full of great DIY's, recipes, and fashion finds.  Check out her blog here.

Thank you so much for having me today, Ally!  I always love reading your Obsessions posts, and normally don't do one, so it was fun to round up so comfy, cozy goodies to enjoy with the cool fall weather.

This Nordstrom at Home pompom tassel throw is seriously begging to be snuggled up in, whether on the couch or outside with a good book (glass of wine optional). {$58 at Nordstrom.com}

Silk pj's are the perfect sleep-to-lounge wear in my book.  What's better than spending the day hibernating in silk, anyways? {Top and pants, $64.95 each at Gap}

These Ugg slippers scream "I don't plan on leaving the house but I refuse to ignore my obsession with animal print."  Cute and comfy is a definite win-win. {$100 at Zappos}

Alpine Blanket Sweater. Enough said (although I think I'd switch out that tight leather mini for a more noshing-friendly pair of leggings). {$129 at Piperlime}

It's never out of season to have your house smell like a Christmas tree, or baking cookies, or both, right?  These cute little mason jar candles would make great hostess gifts, also. {$12.50 each at Bath and Body Works}

Kate Spade knows how to add a pop of color to an otherwise dreary time of year.  This fun infinity scarf would pull together just about any outfit, or feel free to toss it on over your pj's (no judgment).  {$78 at Neiman Marcus}

The Bliss Down-Filled Chair-and-a-Half gives you plenty of room to spread out while staying comfy and stylish.  Genius, isn't it? {$899 at West Elm}

And for the ultimate in luxury fall lounging, cashmere socks are at the top of the list.  However, with that price tag, let's maybe hold tight till a sale rolls around. {$98 at J. Crew}

Thank you again, Ally!  And thank you to everyone who stopped by.  I loved having the chance to share some of my fall obsessions.

  11. Love this list! I'm obsessed with throw blankets and the pom poms on the Nordstrom one are adorable! I also love the B&BW mason jar candles - this past Saturday they were only $5/piece so I stocked up! My favorite scent for this winter is "Snowday". Can't wait to check out your blog!
