5 on Friday

TGIF! I feel like I haven't done one of these posts in forever.

1. {READ}
This article on What French Women Know About Getting Dressed That American Women Don't. We already know they raise their kids better than us but looks like they also dress better. Go figure.

2. {LISTEN}
I've listened to the shittake out of this song. It's so catchy I just love it. They play on it channel 36 AltNation on SirusXM. I guess I'm going with a French theme today.

3. {BUY}
Trying to recreate what celebrities have worn is really becoming one of my favorite things to do. You end up finding stuff in your closet you forgot about and finding new ways to wear it. Perfect on the budget! I got my faux leather leggings for Christmas and am always looking for different ways wear them. I saw this picture of Miranda recently and went searching in my closet to do my own spin on it.

Blouse: Loft Similar, Jacket: Target Similar, Leggings: Top Shop, Booties: Rebecca Minkoff

4. {WATCH}
Fellow dog owners watch this. It's a bit long but pretty interesting. I knew my little girl served a purpose besides being adorable!

5. {EAT}
I made this Crock Pot Chicken Avocado Soup the other night and it was delish. Perfect for the cold weather we've been having lately.

I've got a pretty busy weekend ahead. Babysitting tonight and out to dinner for Restaurant week tomorrow night. So far I'm beating Theo in our weight loss race! But I'm pretty sure it's only water weight. :/ Have a great weekend!

  17. Love the look you created! After doing a little bit of shopping with some Christmas money/gift cards I got, it's my goal to not buy any clothes for a while and just work with what I have. My closet is exploding as it is.
