Weekly Obsessions

Hello Wednesday! So happy you made it! We've got a chilly rest of the week here in Charleston.

After writing my post about organizing your closet yesterday, I came across this Honeycomb Drawer organizer. You place it in a drawer and you can keep your panties, bathing suits etc all separated and easy to find. Theo and I share one chester drawer together. Well, let me rephrase that, I have ONE drawer out of the whole thing. I keep my bathing suits in it and when it comes time to wear one I never can find each piece! This would element that issue.

I've never been a big Coach girl. It doesn't help that we have an outlet here now and everyone and their grandma is carrying those humongous "C's" planted all over their bag. The only C I want to be carrying is the interlocking "C's". ;) Anyways, so when I saw all my favorite celebs carrying the new Borough Bag I was pretty shocked to find it was made by Coach.

It comes in 3 different sizes, Normal, Large, and Mini, and an array of colors and patterns. I love bags that can be worn multiple ways and this bag can do just that.

Here's the mini version worn crossbody:

Get it Coach!

I've been wanting a basic black and white stripe dress forever it feels like. The kind of dress you can wear in the summer with sandals, in the fall with a jean jacket, and in the winter with black tights and boots. Well my friends I have found THE dress. And it's only $33!! And free shipping! That's robbery!!

We've been house hunting for our family beach house this year so I've got summer on the brain. I came across this sarong and remembered I wanted one last year but never got one. This would be the perfect cover up after a hot sticky beach day. I love that you can wear it multiple ways.

I've worn the same basic neutral gladiator type sandals for I swear 3 years now. That's how long they've held up. This year I'm tossing them and getting a new pair. I'm a neutral girl and tend to buy shoes that I know I can wear with everything. I love Dolce Vita shoes and I love this honey color. My only wish is that they zipped up in the back rather than buckle. It's such a pain to do when you're in a rush!

Sorry for the crappy picture. I can't believe I haven't talked about this stuff yet! It's an eyelash primer that goes on white. Then you apply your normal mascara. I wear Dior Extase for mascara and love it. I don't know what's in this maximizer but when I wear it I can instantly tell a difference in my lashes versus just wearing mascara on it's own.
Here's someone comparing their eyelashes with and without the Maximizer:

The difference between the two is amazing. I don't use the Maximizer every day. I don't wear it to work. I do wear it on the weekends and on my days off and I love the difference in my eyelashes. I bought my tube when Dior was having buy 2 mascaras get 1 free.

I've been making a variation of Pioneer Woman's Veggie Sandwich everyday this week and it's delicious. I find myself craving it. The crisp cucumber with the avocado is out of this world. I used what I had so I used bread instead of a bagel and mayo with some dill weed sprinkled on top instead of cream cheese. I also nixed the cheese. I love cheese more than you know but it ruins my skin :(

Have a great day!

  5. I am not a big Coach fan either - but I do like that purse! They should make more classic options like that!
And the veggie sandwich looks delicious! I love sprouts and used to make a turkey bagel sandwich with cream cheese, red onion, and sprouts that was so yummyy :))

  6. Yum that veggie sandwich looks good!! I love that black and white stripe dress, it would look so cute on you! Great price too! I've had to return things from ASOS before and the one downside is it took forever to get my money back.

  8. Coach has really stepped up their game with their new "city" collection! Really like all the colors as well! The dior primer is great - I use origins underwear for lashes - but since it's almost done - I'll have to pick this one up!

  12. Loving that sarong. I REALLY want eyelash extensions, but since they run $200 maybe I should look into the Dior option instead.

  13. Dolce vita is my favorite shoe brand!! Those sandals might have to appear in my closest. If only it was warm enough to wear them. This cold weather is no fun! Although I guess it gives me a chance to wear my dv boots!

  14. OH MY WORD! I love that honeycomb organizer! My drawers are a MESS! Love it.

I'm with you on the C's. Not to be a snob, but why would you want a bag that looked EXACTLY like everyone else's, but that's just me. :)

  17. It's so funny you posted the Borough bag because I was browing my favoite handbag site Purse Forum yesterday and came across that bag and was shocked by how much I loved it! Coach has really been stepping up their game lately. I'm considering adding to my on-going Handbags I need list ;)
