How was everyone's weekend? Theo's cousin got married on Saturday so we had a very busy weekend. Thursday Theo's brother, wife, and their 3 kids (5, 3, and 1.5 years old) came into town and stayed at our house. It was a disaster zone from the moment those kids stepped into our house but at the same time it was a blast. I was worried about Pixie being overwhelmed with all the kids running around but she was great and Theo told me today he thinks she kind of liked having the kids at our house.

Friday night was the rehearsal dinner at Sticky Fingers. Such a great place for a rehearsal dinner. The area was spacious and very nice.
Old Tibi dress. Theo calls it my "Tron" dress because of the crazy pattern. Boys, what do they know about fashion?!

Saturday we took the kids to The Battery to let them run around and play. The weather was great and although I've lived in Charleston my whole life I don't think I've ever really walked around The Battery aside from school field trips. I know that's so sad. I probably need to start doing "tourist in your own town."

Saturday night was the wedding at St. Luke's Chapel and The Wikliffe House. The weather was great aside from a few gnats, who knew they came out this early in the year?! After having my own wedding, and as much as I loved it, it's much more relaxing and fun being at someone elses. Although I did pick up on things I wish I would have done at mine. Coulda, shoulda, woulda.

Love me some dirty martinis. My dress was Adrianna Papell. It's a cap sleeve purple lace sheath dress. You can find it here and here but here's a little secret. I got it from Marshall's for $23! I had another dress picked out for months and found this one last week and knew I couldn't pass it up. It's insane the stuff you can find at Marshall's/TJ Maxx.

The weekend was exhausting but fun and after everyone left on Sunday Pixie and I took a long nap. I think she may have been more tired than me!
