As my Mom would say, "It's been a scorcher this week!" I don't know how it is where you live but here in Charleston it's been HOT.

I finished up my last shift at my job this week. It's a bittersweet feeling. Of course the last day you always think "Aw man maybe I should stay?! Tonight was a good night!" I know I'll be happy to have normal working hours though.

My sweet co workers threw me a party and brought in a cake and tons of food.

Definitely going to miss them more than the job!

Madewell has added some new clothes and of course I love them all. Biana said it best when she said I should be their ambassador! If someone told me I could only shop at one store for the rest of my life it would be Madewell for sure.

How adorable is this Lightstitch Tunic Dress?

This Keynote Dress would be perfect to wear to a wedding or dress it down with flats or wedges

Loving this Dip-Dye Maxi Skirt.

I could see myself wearing this Linen Blouse with jean shorts or white jeans. It comes in red too.

This video has been viral on Facebook lately but in case you're one of the few who hasn't seen it yet, check it out. It gave me chills. It's so sad how dependent we've all become on our smartphones. My favorite line is, smartphones, dumb people.

So I was debated sharing this story but it's too ridiculous not too. It really shows my true hair color. Yesterday I was getting ready to leave the house when I noticed my back tire looked flat. So I pulled out my air compressor that plugs into the cigarette lighter. I plugged it in and turned the car on because if you don't have the car on it drains the battery in seconds. I had my purse and cell phone sitting in the car. I pumped up the tire, unplugged the compressor and placed it in the car. The car is still running this whole time. Then my smart self locked the door and closed it. I went over to the driver side to get in the car, and it was locked. I thought I had left my driver door unlocked but yet I had never unlocked it to begin with. So here I am outside of my car and my phone, my purse, and my keys are all in my car with it running.

I don't have a spare set of it car keys and even if I did how would I get it since my house keys were in the car?! I felt so helpless and started to get scared. I couldn't even call Theo to tell him! It was 11am on a Thursday and it looked like no one was home. I ran to our neighbors across the street who's a SAHM. I rang their doorbell 3 times, shaking like crazy, and she never answered. Now I was really starting to freak out. I looked at our next door neighbors house, who's a pilot and never home, and luckily his car was in his driveway. I ran to his house and knocked on his door. He answered and I said "Hi, I'm Ally I live next door and I did something really dumb. I locked my keys in my car with the car running. And phone is in their too. Can I please use your phone to call a locksmith?" He let me in and we called a locksmith. The locksmith was here in 15 minutes and $125 later, no that's a not a typo, I was in my car. Talk about one of the most scariest and dumbest feelings I've ever felt. I didn't realize how helpless and alone you feel without your phone! Trust me this will NEVER happen again! I'm just so thankful the neighbor was home. It was so hot yesterday and if no one had been home what would I have done?! I couldn't get back in my house or call anyone. Just happy it's over! Blonde moment for sure!

Have a great weekend and a great Mother's Day!!

  20. No fear, I've had more than one of those blonde moments before! My husband is NEVER impressed by it and doesn't find the humor in my stupidity. LOL! I'm glad you were able to get in tho! :) Even though the weather here in MI is nothing like "scorching" we definitely do use that word when it is! Haha.

  21. According to market survey may be it is the best air compressor. Its is very easy for carry and I think It is cheaper than many compressor of market. It’s price is only 49.95 so it is definitely cheap price
