Friday Randoms

by Ally Harding, 5:00 AM

Woo hoo for Friday! I'm hoping the beach is in our future this weekend. I'm on call tonight which blows but there's still Saturday and Sunday to look forward to.

Here's what I'm loving today:

~ I appreciated all your advice and insight on my post yesterday. I loved learning how you all find the time to blog. Blogging is such a stress reliever and escape from my normal day to day life. I'd hate to give it up but I've realized it's just going to have to be a balancing act. I've gained so many awesome friendships through blogging. So thank you for all your support!

~ Yesterday I went blueberry picking at Champney's Blueberry Farm out in Ravenel, SC. It was so much fun and I came home with more than enough blueberries to last me a year.

~ What do you do with 6 lbs of blueberries??! You make blueberry bread of course!

It was delicious I just wish I had a hand mixer. I mixed it all by hand rather than using an actual stand mixer or hand mixer and I think it made the consistency flaky. It still tasted great!

I went to Boxcar Betty's for the first time this week and it was too good. Fried chicken sandwich with pimento cheese? Um heaven.

~ Madewell is offering an additional 20% off on sale items with code SUNNY till Monday. The shorts I'm wearing in the above pic are on sale and they're the best shorts. They're boyfriend fit so they aren't tight but aren't too loose at the same time. I'm wearing my normal size but you could also size down if you wanted them to be tighter.

~ My two favorite things in life finally made a baby and it's good

I mean seriously why are these just coming out?! All I could think about when I ate them was Lindsay Lohan in The Parent Trap dunking Oreos in peanut butter. I can't even. They're amazing, enough said. Don't buy them if you ever want to wear a bathing suit this summer.

Linking up with April and Amanda

Have a good weekend and stay safe on Friday the 13th!

  18. Yeah!!!!! I am so excited you linked up girl! I read your post from yesterday. The struggle is real! Especially these past few weeks with going over to our EHR system I am so behind on reading everyones blog and I hate that because I feel guilty (weird right?) and I love keeping up with everyone! It's all about finding that balance. I feel like if I can answer all my emails that is still connecting but it's definitely give and take!

  20. You will have so many good recipes with those blueberries I bet. They're awesome in milkshakes/smoothies since you can freeze them and use them later. Hope we get some outdoor/beach weather for sure!
