Doesn't this picture just take you away? It's so calming. I would normally say I'm happy the weekend is here but I'm on call this weekend so I have a bit of a different opinion. I've got a vacation in the near future so I've just got to keep my mind on what's to come.
~ I really really hope I can convince Theo to let me wallpaper our half bathroom. It's small and located underneath the steps so it's just awkward. It's like the one room that bugs me. Wallpaper is just what it needs. I found some easy peel and stick designs at Target but I can't decide which one I like more.
I'm leaning more towards the second one but I'd love to hear your opinion or if you know of another brand that sells peel and stick wallpaper.
~ I went to lunch yesterday at Angel Oak Restaurant and had the best veggie sandwich. I also had to order the fries after the waitress said they had truffle oil on them. If you put truffle oil on grass I'd eat it. It's that good. Angel Oak is such a cute little restaurant and has the most delicious Southern food. I've had their brunch a few times and but never their lunch and it just as good. Great little destination place to eat at if you're ever in Charleston.
~ Thinking about swimming this summer? Of course, who isn't! Check out this article on the 6 signs you shouldn't swim there. Sorry but that cute baby playing in the pool is not your friend!
~ Raise your hand if you love cheese? I expect to see a hand raise from everyone. Unfortunately cheese doesn't love us back and hangs out in our butt and thighs. Fear cheese no more. Here's how you can eat cheese and still be healthy.
~ Piperlime has 20% off Designer Sale items with code DESIGNER. One of my favorite tops is part of the sale for a great price.
Loving this Soft Joie top
And this Trina Turk dress
Have a good weekend!

ReplyDeletewait peel and stick wallpaper??? Have I been living under a rock because that sounds amazing. Those are tough girl I initially went with the first one but then the second one is great too! That Trina Turk dress would be perfect for the 4th. Thanks for linking up!!!!
ReplyDeleteWallpaper for a small space is such a great idea! And it's peel and stick?!?! That's awesome! I'm leaning more toward the first one, but I don't think you'll go wrong with either. Have a great weekend, even if you're on call :(
ReplyDeleteAt least we have a fun happy hour to look forward to on Monday :) Need to visit Angel Oak Restaurant-- that sammy and fries look delicious!
ReplyDeleteI love the Riley tops too! I seriously want to be in that picture. And I am loving wallpaper lately too... especially for small rooms like the bathroom.
ReplyDeleteLoving what you got at the restaurant! So yum! I also love the wallpaper option even if its on an accent wall! Peel and stick is genius!
ReplyDeleteI was drooling over your sandwhich yesterday on IG - it looked amazing!! I love that picture and wish I was there right now... And the wallpaper sounds like a great idea! Hope you can convince him!
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love cheese so thank you for that link LOL! I can handle 1 oz of full fat cheese and still be happy :) And your sandwich and friends look AMAZING! I love both of those wallpapers but I think the second one is less busy and might make the room look bigger? Happy Friday!

I am loving both wallpapers, great choices, I hope you can convince him too :) Oh how I would love to be in that first pic right now! Have a good weekend!
ReplyDeleteI love the idea of wallpaper in that half bath! I think I like the top one best but both would be really pretty! That restaurant is so far away from us but that picture makes me really want to go. haha!
ReplyDeleteThat restaurant looks so good! We are coming to Charleston in August (although I see it is at Johns Island) but looks like it would be worth it!!
ReplyDeleteI love both of those wallpapers but for some reason the first one definitely has my attention! Lord knows I could eat cheese all day every day, love this article! Have a great weekend love!
ReplyDeletethat green tee is so cute! and i love the first wallpaper, though i'm sure the second one would look good as well, the first one might be too much? no idea. i love the idea of doing the beadboard wallpaper (martha stewart or allen + roth) in our bathroom but my husband wont let me! boo.
ReplyDeletelove the first wallpaper!!! good luck convincing the hubby :)
ReplyDeleteI am so with you on the truffle oil! I bought truffle salt and white truffle oil last year at Sur La Table and they were the best money I spent in a long time. It gives the best something extra to anything and I'm addicted!
ReplyDeleteThank you for mentioning Angel Oak because I always forget about it but it'd be perfect to go to for lunch with the parentals tomorrow. I like the first wall paper better, but for a smaller space, I think the second, lighter option might be better? IMO :) Cheers to the weekend - and that I get to see your face on Monday!
ReplyDeleteOoooh that first picture is mesmerizing! So relaxing! And that veggie sandwich looks delicious! :) I personally like the first wallpaper design. I feel that I would get dizzy in a small room of the other design! ;)
ReplyDeleteI love that peel and stick wallpaper!!

I've heard that Lowes also has good peel and stick wallpaper. Maybe see if Young House Love has tested any (I imagine they have!). Love that dress! Have a great weekend! Meg (formerly of Boo Boos and Briefcases)
ReplyDeleteThat picture definitely takes me away... It should be a rule that everyone who sees gets to go there. :)
ReplyDeleteI love that first paper! But, that's just me. Our neighbor papered her main floor half bath, and it is super cute! Looking forward to seeing the finished product!
ReplyDeleteAnd yes, that first picture looks heavenly....it is missing a cup of coffee or a cocktail though. :)
I love the second one!!! Also - those fries look DIVINE. xx
ReplyDeleteLove that 1st wall paper and I LOVE your top!!! Girl you always have the cutest clothes!
ReplyDeleteLove those wallpapers -- the 2nd one looks all you to me! I considered doing one of the Target ones back this winter in our laundry room (bc we're currently renting) but never got around to it. I think one of the paint companies (Sherwin Williams comes to mind) has a line of peel & stick, too. Have a fabulous weekend, fingers crossed you're not called in. ; )
ReplyDeleteOoo I love the second wallpaper design!! And omg I saw that Piperlime sale too!! Must resist...I've been so bad with spending lately! #shopaholicprobs
ReplyDeleteI was eyeing that wallpaper at Target... I want to know how it works!
ReplyDeleteI l.o.v.e. wallpapered half baths! You should totally do it. I think the first print is my favorite but you can't go wrong with either! Hope you had a good weekend despite having to work!
ReplyDeleteThat lunch looks delicious! And loving that wallpaper!
