Weekend

Hello! Hope everyone had a great weekend. Just like always they go by way too fast.

I've recently been hooked on this new local beer by the brewery Freehouse. They brew only organic beer and the first beer they bottled is the Ashley Farmhouse Ale. I can't wait to check out their brewery in North Charleston. I've heard it has an awesome view on the water.

I picked up the blush Rosy Glow by Dior and I love it. It's very pink but somehow it works on any skin tone. It's just like their Lip Glow that works for any lip color. Since I'm pale I only need a little bit of blush and it's highly pigmented so a little goes a long way anyways. It gives you a natural flushed look. It lasts all day and looks better as time goes on. The lady at the makeup counter was Asian, so much darker skin tone than me, and she had it on and it looked great on her. I love it because I always have a hard time finding the perfect color blush and now I don't have to.

Saturday we attended Theo's cousin's wedding at the Society Hall on Meeting Street. The bride's dress was gorgeous and she and her new hubby looked so happy together. I love how stunning bride's look on their wedding day. Something about that white dress.

Their wedding favor was really neat. The groom is in the Army and while he's gone Abby, the bride, would bake him Banana Bread, Zucchini Bread, and Nut Bread and send it to him in tightly sealed Mason Jars. So as the wedding favor she baked all three of those breads and put them in Mason Jars. Such a neat touch!

Sunday I had a delicious brunch at Leaf. I got the veggie omelet. The best part about Leaf's brunch is a mimosa or a Bloody Mary is included with your meal. Just that little extra will keep me coming back.

Sunday afternoon we went to see Magic in the Moonlight. I loved Midnight in Paris so I was hoping this other Woody Allen movie would be just as good. It was cute and pretty entertaining. I'm not going to lie, also knowing that Emma Stone is in it was mainly why I wanted to see it. I've yet to see a bad movie she's in!

We ended the weekend with Salmon on the grill and the Melt in Your Mouth Kale Salad.

Have a great Monday!
