Ugh Monday we meet again! We had a great weekend, sad it's over. How was yours? I did some good eatin' this week starting with Friday dinner at Tattooed Moose then on to Edmund's Oast for a drink.
The Thanksgiving Sammy with Gravy to dip it in, oh yeah.
I was happy it was cool enough to be able to bust out my brown leather jacket. I lived in it last year.
The jacket is old and no longer available. My jeans are the rag & bone high rise skinny jeans in Heritage wash, hands down best dark jeans ever. Boots are Sam Edelman Maddox, also great. I swear Sam Edelman makes the most comfortable shoes.
Saturday we went to lunch with Ms. Pixie at Brown Dog Deli. After lunch we walked around Waterfront Park and then Colonial Lake.
Mesquite Turkey Croissiant
That night Theo had a guys' night planned so I figured it was a better time than ever to organize the pantry. I'm not finished yet but have made some great progress. I tell ya it's so therapeutic to be able to throw away all the crap you're housing in your pantry. I found a bunch of glass jars and wicker baskets from Marshalls. Once I finish it a post will follow!
Here's what I was working with, can you tell we shop at Costco?!
I made the yummiest salad since I didn't have to make a meal full of meat for Theo. A post on that later this week!
Sunday we hit up The Med for some brunch. Omelet with caramelized onion, spinach, sausage, and pimento cheese for me and a fried green tomato, pimento cheese and bacon benedict for Theo. Sadly Theo's meal was better than mine. I should of known, the more fattening meal is always the way to go.
Sunday night we had a birthday party for my stepfather. He asked for a German Chocolate cake so that's what I made him, #thanksduncanhines.
I think he liked it.
All the ladies.
Fun weekend full of yummy food. I practically had to be rolled out my parents' house on Sunday night. Healthy eating starts Monday at 7am!
Linking up with Biana!
