We had a great Thanksgiving! How was yours? All I know is I'm happy Thanksgiving is over and we can get onto the fun stuff, Christmas. We spent Thanksgiving in Atlanta with Theo's brother, his wife, and their 3 kids. We took Pixie with us for the first time and she did great. It was her first long car ride and her first time staying at house with another dog so I was little hesitant bringing her, she's not the friendliest to other dogs, but we didn't have any problems. I know, I know she's just a dog but when you don't have kids your dog is your kid.
Here's a quick recap of our weekend:
Bowling at Dave and Buster's Wednesday night.
Stayed up late that night baking Pumpkin Spice Cupcakes and drinking Kir Royales.
Enjoyed Turkey Day with friends and family.
Filled my plate to the max with carbs, carbs, and more carbs. I couldn't careless about turkey. And yes I finished my plate.
Took Pix on some awesome walks in the meadow. My girl was in heaven romping through the fields.
Did some shopping on Black Friday. I wish I could say all my shopping was Christmas gifts but I did sneak in a few things for myself. Like this dress I plan to wear for New Years Eve. It's an awesome fit, tight but not too tight you can't breath, plus it was 40% off, jackpot.
Had Christmas with the kids Saturday night.
Packed up the car and headed home Sunday.
Just in time to start decorating for Christmas.

We put up our tree..
Kidding, but in all seriousness that was Theo and my first Christmas tree together. We got married on December 15 so it was pointless to get a real tree since we were gone for 10 days before Christmas so this little guy was our first tree as a married couple.
I've never dreaded Monday more after the long weekend. Why is it always so much harder to go back after a lot of days off?! On the bright side, 25 days till Christmas!
What a great weekend! I'm with you on all the carbs on Thanksgiving! No regrets there! :) And LOVE that Loft dress. SO pretty! Love your first little tree. So cute! And happy anniversary month!
