Weekend

by Ally- Life as I know it, 5:00 AM
We had a great weekend. How was yours? We finally got all of our Christmas decorations up which makes me so happy! Couldn't have asked for better weather either!

I spent Friday night at my mom's house for her vendor party. She and her neighbor had about 14 or so vendors set up at their houses to sell their products. There were Christmas wreaths, decorations, jewelry, body scrub, you name it, it was there. It was a neat idea for the Holiday season and they had a great turnout.

After all the red wine I consumed Friday night I needed something greasy so Theo was a sweetheart and picked us up some biscuits from Livelihood Cafe Saturday morning. Their chicken biscuit was out of this world good. Maybe even better than Chick Fil A, shh.. don't tell.

We went out to dinner Saturday night for an early anniversary dinner. Our anniversary is actually on the 15th but next weekend we're kind of booked so we decided to go this weekend instead. I wore my rehearsal dinner dress from 2 years ago. Since its a white lace dress it's hard to find a reason to wear it plus it was sentimental so I was happy to finally break it out of my closet again.
Dress: Wink Shoes: Dolce Vita - both old and sold out

Dinner was at Lucca and it was amazing. Seriously one of the best meals I've ever had. We also had drinks at the cutest little place before dinner called Elliotborough Mini Bar.

Everything at Lucca was good from the bread to the dessert. I'm still dreaming about the flounder and lentils.

We came home Saturday night and decorated our Christmas tree while watchig The Santa Clause. Another great Costco Christmas tree. Can't beat the $28 price!

Sunday was spent decorating the outside of the house and winding down with a delicious Merry Maker Gingerbread Stout and Elf on TV.
We're going to decorate that tree on the porch but me someone bought the wrong kind of extension cords. Why can't everything be cordless?! Life would be so much easier!
