So here's a fun fact about me, I used to work at Outback Steakhouse back in the day. Aside from being obsessed with their Bloomin' Onion and Loaded Cheese Fries, I loved their Caesar Salad and would order it with shrimp on top almost daily. Even though I rarely go there anymore I still love shrimp on a Caesar salad. I really can't stand bottled dressings, they taste fake and overly processed to me, so I like to make my own Caesar. This recipe is super easy and dairy free which is a plus for me but of course if cheese isn't your enemy load it up. I think cooking shrimp is pretty fool proof and doesn't take long to cook at all. There's something about spicy blackened shrimp with the tangy Caesar salad that is so pleasing to the palate.

Blackened Shrimp Caesar Salad (Dairy free)

Dressing- recipe from The Good Eatah
2 tablespoons mayonaise
2 tablespoons dijon mustard
juice of half a lemon
2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
2 minced cloves of garlic
salt and pepper to taste

7-8 shrimp, peeled and deveined per person- I buy it frozen and make sure to thaw before cooking
Old Bay
Cayenne pepper
salt and black pepper
1 tablespoon olive oil

4-5 leaves of romaine lettuce per person, chopped

In a large bowl, whisk all the ingredients together. Taste and adjust to your liking.

Heat olive oil in a medium skillet over medium-high heat. Add in the shrimp and season with Old Bay, Cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper to your liking. Flip often and cook until shrimp is opaque.

Toss the dressing with the chopped romaine lettuce. Add as much or as little dressing as you like but start with less, you can always add more. Top with blackened shrimp and extra black pepper.

I can't recommend this movie enough. I mean it's weird and has some really strange moments in it but it's about how the internet effects us all. It focuses on a few teenagers and their parents and all I know is it makes me nervous for the future. It's scary how much we depend on the internet now and that so much that goes now on would never happen without the internet. Adam Sandler is in and does a really good job with a serious role. Jennifer Garner plays a crazy mom obsessed with keeping tabs on her daughter all the time. Like I said it's not a happy, feel good movie but it's definitely eye opening and shows everything that's wrong with the internet.

They really do have the best Caesar salads and I was actually about to look up a shrimp recipe for dinner tonight. Think I found it! :)
