Favorite Finds Under Fifty

I just love to get a good deal and never pay full price for anything. I had a patient, who worked as a buyer for a women's clothing store, tell me one time about how much mark up there really is on clothing. She said they will pay $4 for a blouse and then sell it in their store for $150. Insane!! That really made me never want to pay full price! I think a really good deal is finding something under $50 so I put together a list of my current favorites.

I have this top in red but now that it's on sale for $19.50 I want to stock up in every color. It's like a slouchy boyfriend tee that's still fitted. It washes well and I swear it gets softer with every wash and never shrinks. Such a great price for an awesome shirt!





Do you ever check out the Junior's section at Nordstrom? They have the cutest stuff for the best prices. Like this maxi that's on sale for $38. I always come back to this dress because it has tons of great reviews. Maybe this year I'll finally buy it!




I just had to share this dress too from the Nordstrom Junior's department. On sale for $37!! I love everything about this dress, the snakeskin print, the halter top, even the back which is way, way low. Gorgeous dress for a crazy good price!




It's going to be a sad day when Piperlime closes because they always have the best deals. I really like the lace trim on this top and think it would look so cute with jean shorts in the summer.




Blank Denim is supposed to be awesome and all of their jeans are under $90. These are currently half off! I have a pair of dark grey jeans and wear them all the time, you'd be surprised with how versatile they are. Love the ripped holes in this pair.




I carry a black hole for a purse so pouches keep me organized. I love these little pouches but probably need the Vacay Fund one more than Shop It Out!





This vase really caught my eye and I love how simple and elegant it is. It would look amazing on my white mantel with some colorful tulips sticking out of it.



I have a serious love affair with gladiator sandals and really love the neutral colors in this pair. Enzo Angiolini makes great shoes for not a bad price. These are on sale for $39.99.

    I agree with you, I love a good find under $50. It really does drive me crazy how expensive some things are for really no reason! LOVE that snakeskin print maxi and those gladiator sandals! That RM pouch is adorable too. I agree, I think I need the vacation funds one haha!

    i rarely pay full price for clothes bc things ALWAYS go on sale! love that blue maxi dress! it's on my wishlist too :) im just nervous it'll be too long for me haha xo jillian - cornflake dreams

    I LOVE the snakeskin dress. I've been looking for a maxi to wear to an upcoming rehearsal dinner, but I have to admit the back makes me a little hesitant. We'll see ;)

    Love this post. I always side eye blogs when they tell me about these great deals on $150 shirts. Um, no. Not a deal for me. I have that Madewell slub tee and it is awesome. I need it in more colors.

    I always shop on sale; I paid full price on a lotion yesterday and feel like I committed a sin! Great finds, I am so excited we are finally approaching maxi dress season, I was pregnant last summer and literally LIVED in them!

    I'm obsessed with the Lush maxi dresses! I've been regularly checking the Nordstrom website to see when they're going to put out the new ones for this year haha. Need those sandals, too!

    I've stopped paying full price too and love that Polyvore alerts me to items being on sale! Last year I bought that Nordstrom dress in black and loved it until I accidentally dried it and it majorly shrunk in length. Definitely pick it up for summer but be sure to line dry every time!

    I still have yet to buy a maxi skirt or dress - I'm just not sure how they'll look on someone 5'1". I'll definitely be searching for one I like this summer :) I really like that lace top and those sandals!!
