Friday Round Up

This has been a great week and I'm so happy I can say that because after last week I needed a good week to perk me up. It's been so nice not having to deal with traffic on the way to work because of Spring Break and I've been able to go out to eat with Theo twice this week on my days off which was a treat.

We have three new people hired at work so our short staffed situation is finally clearing up. I'm really looking forward to Easter too. The weather is supposed to be great, 69 and sunny, and I love getting together with my family. I hope you had a great week as well!

~Did you guys watch The Roast of Justin Bieber this week? It's funny because I was going to watch it but when the night came I had a reality check and decided sleep was more important. I actually really do like those roasts though. They make fun of the people in the audience too and it can be hilarious and vulgar but I had to pass on The Biebs. If you missed the show too here's a list of the 11 Amazing Moments from The Justin Bieber Roast.

~Who else is excited Mad Men is back this Sunday? Oh and I guess some other little show called Game of Thrones is starting back too. ;) But really though I'm excited about Mad Men finally ending this drawn out last season. I hate when shows do that. It's 18 episodes, just show it all at once!! It's been so long I don't even remember who Don is dating or married to anymore.

~I'm making these Mini Easter Cheesecakes for Sunday. Mmm they look so good! I haven't been having the best luck with desserts turning out good lately so wish me luck I don't screw these up!

~So I'm beginning to wonder if Piperlime is actually closing or not. The plan was for the site to go down in April but April is here and they're still releasing new items so who knows. I'm loving all their new florals for spring.

This reminds me of a Joie blouse but for a 1/4 of the price. It really is a gorgeous blouse and I love the cross front. So different from normal tops.

When I first saw this blouse I thought it had way too much going on but the more I look at it, the more I like it. I think it would really pop with a pair of white jeans. It comes in a dress version I might even like more.

Gorgeous cami that would look cute with shorts or white jeans. Camis like this are perfect to wear in the hot summer and you still look put together.

Have a great Easter weekend!

  2. I'm pumped for Mad Men, but I agree I might need to rewatch some episodes from "earlier this season" to catch back up. I did read a review that it really does feel like a separate season, they just might have had to say it's two parts to work with the actor contracts. Happy weekend!

  4. That first floral blouse is gorgeous! I was wondering about that with Piperlime too. Those mini cheesecakes are the best... if you want to pop over and drop some off I'm not going to complain :) Happy Easter to you and Theo!
