Random Monday

We did a good bit this weekend but instead of trying to capture the moment by taking pictures I decided to enjoy the moment. So instead of a weekend recap, it's going to be a bunch of randoms!

~We had the most delicious dinner at Mondo's Delite on James Island Saturday night.

The place was packed and I was not surprised. They may have some of the best Italian I've ever had and everyone at our table loved their meal. I'm still having those fun food aversions so I stayed away from meat and ordered the Manicotti. But I was really looking forward to the Chocolate Hazelnut Gelato.

One of the best things about being pregnant, aside from growing your own child of course, is being able to order dessert and no one looks at you like "geez heifer!" Still dreaming about that gelato.

~I ordered another pair of maternity shorts from Old Navy and I think I might love them more than my first pair. They came longer than how I like shorts to be, 5 inches, but all I did was roll them up once to make them shorter. I really love the side panel since I can wear them now when I'm not really showing and hopefully will be able to wear them later too.

~Have you guys been following all the insane trends people are wearing at Coachella this year? It looks like everyone walked into Goodwill and bought clothes then ripped them to shreds and wore them. But really the ripped cloth they call a shirt probably cost $300.

I think Coachella is as much of a fashion show as it is a music festival. I love what Kate Bosworth wore though. She looks so classy and always has the best style.

~Could the Beckham family be any cuter? They all went to a Burberry fashion show this week and this picture with Harper Beckham on her daddy's lap has got to be the sweetest thing. It still shocks me Victoria had 4 kids but more power to her.

~I picked up a Scones Mix from World Market and made them for breakfast on Sunday. They were so good and so easy, all you have to add is water. They're perfect for my carb obsessed self.

~We booked our gender reveal ultrasound but we still have to wait a few weeks to find out the gender. I've already started brainstorming how I want to do the nursery. I really want to go with a gender neutral nursery regardless if it's a boy or a girl and I've always loved this House of Wentworth nursery.

I do believe this is a little girl's nursery so if I had a boy I would make it a bit more boyish but I love how clean and simple all white nurseries look. One thing is for sure, I'm getting a sheepskin rug for the nursery. They're so comfy and plushy I can't get enough of them.

That's all for now. Have a good Monday!

  4. Holy cow, I'll stay in that nursery till Baby H comes! Coachella clothing is hilarious to me, and when I went to that music festival in Atlanta last September, you wouldn't believe the "young ladies" who wore the same kind of crap lol. SO good to see you in all your pregnancy glow on Saturday; you look fabulous!
