There's one thing everyone tells you when you start to spread the news you're pregnant, not to waste a lot of money on maternity clothes. I couldn't agree more since you only wear it for maybe 6 months, all depending on when you start showing. But there also comes a time when you have to buy something. I've found it's best to buy a few staples and just wear them over and over. I think I've built a pretty good collection of maternity outfits that should hopefully last me till this baby makes his appearance in October.
Old Navy Side-Panel Maternity Shorts in Aberdeen
I bought these before I even started showing and have been wearing them ever since. They're so comfortable and fit really well for Old Navy. I'm finding as I'm getting bigger that the side panel isn't stretching as much as I'd like and the front of the shorts are digging into my big belly when I sit down. I think these shorts are great for the 1st and 2nd trimester but I don't see them lasting me once the 3rd trimester comes.
I also own them in White
This is great! I feel like when I finally do get pregnant I'm not going to want to spend a ton on maternity clothes since you only wear them for 9+ months. I love that black dress you got!

Oh my goodness, you look amazing!! Xo, Stephanie
ReplyDeleteI love the striped dress you bought!! I heard a trick of just sizing up in shirts or getting larges so that you aren't buying maternity so you aren't spending as much - it's like when you're planning a wedding they hear that word and tack on 20% more lol! xo, Biana -BlovedBoston
ReplyDeleteGreat tips girl. Will be saving this for later for sure ;)

ReplyDeleteThanks for the clothing ideas!! I wondered about scrub pants for work. I am still fitting into my regular pants but I do have a few that don't have a stretchy back so I am sure those will be the first to not fit! Oh...and buying that super cute black dress from Target ASAP! :)
ReplyDeleteTarget for the win always. I want those distressed shorts now :-) They look so much like the Rag & Bone ones.
ReplyDeleteI once accidentally bought a maternity dress at Target and I wear it all the time anyway! They have some really cute stuff. I have also heard other bloggers rave about Pink Blush maternity online
