Non-Dairy Peanut Butter Chocolate Milkshake

I'm officially hooked on these milkshakes. They're great for those of us who can't have a lot of dairy, if you're on a Paleo diet like Whole30, or if you just want a healthier milkshake option. Who ever decided to freeze bananas and add them to make a milkshake was a genius, it tastes just like ice cream. I've only tried making this with peanut butter but you could also use almond butter and even add in some mint or vanilla extract. If you google "Paleo Milkshakes" there's tons of recipes. I drink this for breakfast or for an afternoon snack. The peanut butter keeps you full plus it's a healthy fat so I don't feel guilty!

Non-Dairy Peanut Butter Chocolate Milkshake

Ingredients

1 frozen banana - make sure to peel, chop into pieces, then freeze in a ziploc baggie.
1/2 cup or more of almond milk - you can use soy milk, cashew milk, coconut milk, whatever you prefer
1 tablespoon creamy peanut butter
1 tablespoon Peanut Butter & Co. Dark Chocolate Dreams 



Recipe

Add the frozen bananas to your blender. Pour in the 1/2 cup or more of almond milk. Scoop in the peanut butter and dark chocolate and blend until smooth and creamy. Drink up and enjoy your milkshake!




That's it. You can't get any easier than that.

  3. I'm not a PB fan (shocking to my kids!) but I love to make this with just frozen bananas, almond milk and a splash of vanilla extract! The only problem is getting my husband to not eat the bananas so I can freeze them!
