How Many Weeks: 24 and officially 6 months pregnant!
Size of Baby: Anywhere from 8.5-11 inches long and 1.5 lbs.
Gender: Boy!
Movement: He definitely gets more active each week. This week he must be facing my back because he's kicking me on the inside. Like I feel the kicks in my butt. SO weird! I think I've felt hiccups a few times too!
Sleep: Can't complain! Aside from getting up to pee a ton I'm usually able to fall back asleep pretty fast. Still using my Snoogle. That thing is a lifesaver because I just know without it I would end up sleeping on my back all night.
Maternity Clothes: Maternity dresses and shorts but can still wear normal dresses and tops too. Definitely must wear maternity bottoms though!
Weight Gain: 10 lbs
Symptoms: The other day this past week I had horrible round ligament pain that lasted off and on all day especially after I peed. It was so bad I was worried something was wrong! But it went away the next day and haven't had any since. Either baby was in a weird position or had a growth spurt!
Cravings/Aversions: Anything that is carb loaded and bad for you! Aversions are gone, instead I want to eat everything!
Missing Most: Caesar salad. I really wanted one this weekend at Fratello's. I think that may one of the first things I get to eat once this baby comes.
Nursery: Nursery is painted! We also painted this dresser with white chalk paint this weekend.
Hubby: Painted the whole nursery by himself and pretty much the dresser too. He's the kind of guy who likes things done his way, remember how I said he was Type A?, and I'm all for letting him do it all. He's going to be the best Daddy!
Best Part of the Week: My 24 week appointment went great, baby's heartbeat was 144 bpm and I was measuring right on track.
Can't Wait For: We have an ultrasound at my next month's appointment so can't wait to see the baby and see how much he's grown!
