Weekend

I've been slacking with the weekend posts lately. We haven't really done much and I find myself forgetting to take pictures a lot of times. As any blogger knows, no pictures, no post. I tried to make an effort this weekend though!

Friday I went out of my comfort zone, well two weekends in a row really, and went to see a movie. I say comfort zone because after all of these movie theater shootings I would really prefer to never go to the theater again. Theo tempted me with seeing a thriller AND having dinner all at Cinebarre which is one of my favorite things to do, so I just prayed we made it out alive and knew a cookies and cream milkshake was in my future.

We saw The Gift and it wasn't as exciting as I had hoped it would be, but it was still really good. It's kind of slow, not a lot happens for a long time, but it has a great twist at the end.

Saturday I had a delicious brunch at Poogan's Porch. Biana, Amanda, and Pamela were all in town for the weekend so some of us Charleston bloggers met them for brunch. I've been so lucky to have met a ton of fellow bloggers and I just love how we all connect and get along so well.

After brunch, I headed to my parent's house to enjoy their pool and my massive bump. This sucker just keeps getting bigger, so much that my maternity bathing suit is on the verge of no longer fitting. Tight one piece + baby moving around + a full stomach is not a good combo.

Sunday we ran some errands and Theo worked on some of the nursery projects. I'm so thankful he's willing to do so much because just walking up the stairs makes me out of breath. And bending down is out of the question, I mean I can do it but I end up doing some odd squat like movement that is not attractive. Plus I'm scared I'm going to fall flat on my face which would not be good. I love the rug I got for the nursery! It wasn't what I originally wanted but I think it goes perfect.

That night we had our weekly Sunday night dinner at my parent's house.

Ugh and now it's back to work! This is how Pixie feels about Monday. She hates that we have to leave her all day after being home with her these past 2 days!
