Week 34 Bumpdate

How Many Weeks: 34 weeks 5 days

Size of Baby: I would imagine he's around 5 lbs or so. All the websites say more like 4.5 lbs but at my 31 week ultrasound he was already 4 lbs 12 oz so I'm assuming he's gotta be 5 lbs by now. I have an ultrasound next week so I'll find out for sure!

Gender: Precious little boy

Movement: A lot and it's more shifting these days than actual kicks. I can tell he's running out of room. When he presses his foot?, elbow?, leg? no clue what it is, up to my stomach it hurts!

Sleep: Really good. Everyone keeps asking me if I'm ready for the no sleep we're going to get once he comes so I'm trying to take advantage of all the sleep I can get now.

Maternity Clothes: I just wear dresses all the time. Maternity or not.

Weight gain: 25 lbs. My weight gain seems to have slowed down even though I feel like I'm eating a ton.

Symptoms: If I have a full stomach and lay down the top of my stomach/uterus will hurt really bad. It also happens if I wake up in the middle of the night and have a full bladder. I think everything is just getting tight in there.

Cravings/Aversions: Oh just good ole carbs. I made Pumpkin Banana Bread this past weekend just because I was craving some sort of bread.

Missing Most: I've been really missing drinking lately. I don't mean going out getting wasted I just want one beer! It's been 8.5 months since I've had a drink, I'm ready for one!

Nursery: I've got a few things still coming in the mail but overall the nursery is done! I've washed all of his little clothes and started organizing them into drawers. It's such a strange feeling though. I'm getting this room all ready and his clothes washed for someone I've never met before.

Hubby: Just like me, waiting the arrival! Also, I think he's nervous for how my body will look after the baby because he asked me what's going to happen to all that skin that's been stretched out. Honestly that's the last thing I'm worried about buddy! That's for future Ally to worry about.

Best Part of the Week: I had my baby shower last weekend which was so much fun! I had my 33 week appointment last week which went great. I had to have a non stress test because I'm high risk and little man passed!

Can't Wait For: Starting this week I have weekly doctor's appointments which I'm looking forward to. I'm a total weirdo but I love going to the dr so I can make sure my blood pressure and urine is ok and I love hearing the baby's heartbeat. Also can't wait for my induction date October 9! Unless he decides to make his appearance earlier than that.
