Friday Round Up

by Ally- Life as I know it, 2:07 PM
I can't believe this is our last weekend as a family of three. We're trying to fit a bunch in before the baby comes because we know once he arrives we won't be getting out much. Unfortunately this weekend is going to be rainy and flooded so I don't see us doing much of anything!

               Pixie loving on the bump.

I ended up keeping the maternity leggings I ordered from Target and I'm glad I did because you can wear them over the belly or folded under. So I think they'll be great postpartum. Plus you can't beat the price and they're not see through which can be such an issue with leggings.

My newest food obsession this week is Grilled Peanut Butter, Honey, and Banana Sandwiches. I grill it on the panini maker and sprinkle it with powdered sugar. I thought I loved pb and banana sandwiches but trust me once you grill it and get it all warm, it's a whole new level of yumminess. Adding the powdered sugar and honey is the key too.

I'm kind of on the hunt for a new purse. Of course I don't need one but my Cuyana bag has seen better days and I'm just ready for something new. I don't know what to get since I'll be carrying around a diaper bag too. I know I'm not going to want to carry two big bags everywhere I go. I really like this crossbody bag by BP. You can't beat the price either, $32.

Phase 3 Foldover Shoulder Bag

I love the color of this bag. It's a great neutral that would go with everything. I also really like that is has a long strap to wear it crossbody and a shoulder strap too.

I'm obsessed with this Vince bag but it would have to go on MAJOR sale before I could buy it. Of course that's how life works, the one item you really like is the most expensive one!

One thing Theo and I both agree on is that the baby will own lots of books. I was lucky that my mom saved all of my kid books growing up so he already has a big collection. I came across these BabyLit books and would love to add them to his bookshelf. They have such cute illustrations with bright colors.

Have a great weekend!
