5 on Friday

I'm having total denial that this little girl will be turning 1 in 6 weeks!

TGIF! We've got a low key weekend and are hoping to try out Baker and Brewer on Saturday. EVO Pizza mixed with Holy City Beer sounds like the perfect combo.

We've been listening to Christina Perri's Lullaby Album for the past few months in our house and it is seriously the sweetest, more calming, relaxing, CD. We all just love it, even Theo! Christina's voice is so beautiful and the songs she sings are too.

We watched a major nail biter of a movie this past weekend. It's called Free Solo and it's about a guy, Alex Honnold, who climbs the side of the El Capitan Mountain in Yosemite National Park rope-free. Yes, you read that right! He climbed the side of a 3,000 ft high mountain with zero ropes! It's absolutely insane to watch and you just can't comprehend what would make him want to free climb this massive mountain. Spoiler alert: he lives, but it very easily could have ended bad. Just one hand slip and he could have been gone. It still freaks me out thinking about it!

Costco Chicken Street Tacos are the best easy weeknight dinner! We buy them weekly and they're so delicious. They come with shells, cooked and seasoned chicken, cheese, slaw, salsa, and a green sauce that I forget what it's called but trust me, it's amazing. Everything you need for tacos. If you see these on your next Costco run, get them! You won't be disappointed!

Found some white Tretorn's on super sale this week. It's been the one shoe I wanted for summer but I was holding out for a pair on sale. I really don't like to pay full price for clothes, they have such a huge markup as it is! These are already marked down THEN an additional 20% off of that with code APRSAVE19! Steal!

I started following Thrift and Tell and it's so neat to see what designer bags and shoes she's found for a huge discount. I like to think of myself as a thrifty shopper and am always looking for the best price so this account is like that to the max. She has a great post about if you're planning on splurging, what to splurge on. She's got me eyeing a Parker Thatch bag!
