Local Artisans

Hope everyone had a wonderful Easter weekend! The weather was great here in Charleston. Saturday we took a quick trip to Kiawah Island to visit family then headed to Workshop to celebrate a friend's birthday. Sunday, we went to church then that afternoon had Easter dinner at my mom's.

I came across a couple of vendor's at Workshop Saturday that I just had to share. They were having a local artisan night market and a lot of really neat things were for sale. The Charleston Night Bazaar is every third Saturday- next one is May 18th from 5-10pm.

I fell in love this necklace sold by Teza Collection. All the jewelry is made locally. It's priced very well and falls with the current trend yet classic at the same time. I wanted a gold filled necklace rather than gold plated so it would last longer and hold up over time.

I also found out that the girl who owns Teza Collection has a bikini line- Citrine Swim and a kids bathing suit line too - Gully Kids. Very cute stuff!

Ok, so I have this weird obsession with oysters. Maybe it's because I grew up eating them and LOVE them but anytime I find something with an oyster on it, I have to buy it. I bought this swaddle for Elsie, and I have this canvas painting by Chelsea Goer in her nursery.

I love everything Chelsea Goer paints. I want a huge canvas in my living room one day. Anyway, I came across this jewelry line at Workshop- Margerite and Motte. She makes earrings and necklaces out of local oysters. They're so beautiful. I hope I can one day add a pair of earrings to my jewelry collection!

I meant to go back and pick up a print by The Paint Garden but forgot. I'll have to get one next time the Night Market is going on! I think this print would look great in our half bath.
