// A new caftan arrived this week. It's actually from Poshmark, brand new with tags, even came in the sealed bag, so it had definitely never been worn. I purchased a similar Emerson Fry caftan last year and I just wasn't a fan of the fit and color so I sent it back. But, I had always had my eye on the white version and I ended up stumbling upon it on Poshmark. I used the money I had made from selling my own clothes to buy, so it was essentially free! Well, you know, sort of! My point is, check Poshmark! Oh, and sell your own clothes on there, too. It's great way to get rid of clothes you no longer want, they go to a new home, and you make a little cash. My Poshmark account.

// I got a really random wild hair and decided to bake some cookies yesterday. We had a few bananas about to go bad and I had already made banana bread last weekend so I decided to try cookies this time. I found a super easy recipe to follow and they turned out really good! I don't own a stand mixer so I mixed it all by hand which makes me wonder if they would have looked a little more aesthetically pleasing if I had used one. Oh well, they taste good which is all that matters! My kids loved them. Even Theo, who is not a sweets person, said they were good. Here's the recipe- Healthy Peanut Butter Banana Cookies  If I have everything you need to make them at my house, I promise you do too!

// Something about staying at home all day long makes you want to redecorate your home, right? I am loving the new One Kings Lane collection at Bed, Bath and Beyond. So many pretty things. I would love this lamp for our entryway table, this quilt for our bed, pineapple candlesticks for the mantle. I guess I better start looking for all those 20% off coupons that have been piling up!

// Some skincare refills/new products this week. I got a few questions on Biologique Recherche when I posted this picture so I'm thinking about writing on a blog post on my favorite products. I feel that the ones I use are amazing and have done wonders for my acne prone skin. I actually stopped using a few of my tried true ones, why, I don't know!?, and my skin went crazy a few months later so I quickly went back to what worked. If you're local, I purchased these from Spa Azure. As soon as this quarantine is over, I'm finally getting that facial I've been wanting for years!

// One thing that helps me feel like I have somewhat control over this situation, is keeping my house clean. Which feels like I vacuum all day long and I try to mop the floors once a week with the Shark Steam Pocket Mop. If I can, but it's not exactly easy to do with two children. The mop only uses water to clean and sanitize the floors. It dries so fast so you can basically walk on it as soon as you're done. Just thought I would share in case you too have found a new passion in keeping an extra clean house!
