Life has been busy! Theo turned 35 last week which was something to really celebrate considering what happened to him 3 months ago. His birthday was also 3 months to the day of when he had his stroke, kind of interesting I think. We just went out to dinner at EVO Pizza and had drinks before and after dinner at an Irish Pub we love in Park Circle. That was our Friday night tradition before we had kids and even when Oliver was a baby and Theo's mom would come over and watch him while we went out.  It sort of felt like the old days again! It really was so nice to go out, just the two of us.

Currently my favorite tea to drink right now. I'm really hooked on the Republic of Teas brand mainly because all of their teas have so much flavor. Much more than any other brand I've tried. Tea tends to taste watered down, of course but some more than others!, and ROT is always delicious. I also love their Hot Apple Ciderdrinking it as type this actually! I top it with cinnamon, SO yummy! I think you can find both of those flavors at Harris Teeter. Whole Foods as well and World Market I believe. Need this Gingerbread Tea for Christmas!

Amazon is killing it in the toddler girls department. I'm sure it is for boys as well, I just found a few girls items recently that I loved! This fleece is only $15 and reminds of my Dudley Stephens fleece, these jammies are adorable, and this cardigan is granny chic. Ok, and this one too! This dress is on its way to my house right now. It was an instant add to cart! I ordered Elsie a 4T in the dress since the reviews said it ran kind of short and she's tall for being 2 years old. Everything else I ordered a 3T.

I went to the Amanda Lindroth store on Saturday for their big tent sale and got a gorgeous tablecloth and 4 matching cloth napkins. Almost everything in the store was already on sale then you got an additional 30% off so I lucked out with an amazing deal. I just saw she has a 20% off site wide discount with code THANKS20 until Sunday! Her linens are stunning and everything she sells has you dreaming of being at the Bahamas. Her store in downtown Charleston is really a sight to see as well. I was browsing her site and saw she has a lot of the same items on sale in the store as well as online. And now they're 20% off!

Halloween is supposed to be kind of chilly this year, ok not that chilly like 70 degrees but it's been so warm here lately 70 does sound cold! We normally order pizza but since we ate pizza recently I thought I would make a soup that I can leave on the stove and we can come in and eat whenever we get hungry. This Chicken Pot Pie soup looks really good and I like that you can use a rotisserie chicken because I'm all about easy! Think I'll make some biscuits to go with it!
