Fall Favorites for my kids

by Ally- Life as I know it, 12:00 AM

We just got back from 4 days in the mountains of North Carolina where it was 72 and sunny and in the 50's at night. The most perfect fall weather. Until we got back to Charleston where it's 85 degrees! Seriously, where is fall?! We got a small taste of it a few weeks ago and we all knew it was too good to be true! That hasn't stopped me from buying all the cool weather things of course!

These are my favorite pants for Oliver. He's tall and skinny so technically could wear a size 4 in the waist, but a size 6 in length (he's 5 years old) and these pants work great for his body shape. I have to use the elastic bands to tighten the waist almost all of the way but that's what they're there for. And the length is just perfect and allows for room to grow. When these are on sale, I stock up!

I love long sleeve polos for fall/winter and they're even really cute with shorts.

I think pullovers look so sharp and preppy on little boys. They're also perfect for our weather where you need to layer because it's cold in the morning but you're sweating in the afternoon!

Oliver has gotten to the age where he likes to pick out what he wants to wear and luckily it's polos most of the time! But he does love shirts with dinosaurs on them or other graphics so I always make sure to buy those as well. Oh, and he would die over this dinosaur sweater!

This puffer vest has been my favorite for the past few years. It's really nice quality and keeps Oliver very warm.

Elsie is wearing this corduroy overall skirtall in the picture above with this jacket. I wish it came in my size, I think it's so cute! Her turtleneck is from here

Her little pink shoes are from H&M but it looks like they're sold out. The Athena Chus are almost identical and they're in stock in every size. I recently bought her some red Cientas and they're adorable. I love velcro if I can help it. Which reminds me, the Daphne Keds are her everyday pair. I always order wides in Keds, they run so narrow for some reason.

The Squiggles Popover dresses are the best play dresses. They're so easy to throw and she can run and play. If it gets chilly outside, just throw on some tights and you're all set.

I was very fortunate that my mom saved so many of my smocked dresses when I was a little girl so Elsie is now able to wear them. I did recently splurge on this Frozen Smocked Dress for her because it's her absolute favorite thing to watch and she asks for "Let Go" every single day. Her excitement when she got the dress was the best. I called it her first Princess Dress.

We are still loving this set of 40 bows for $11 and I put one in Elsie's hair every single day. I will never buy an expensive bow again!
