Frizzy Hair tips

Living in the hot humid south means frizzy hair. I've always been amazed at girls who can curl their hair, and it stays!,or they have perfectly straight hair on a hot summer night. That's never been my hair, until recently. It's only taken 34 years but I think I've finally found the magic potion to combat frizzy hair! I wanted to share in case you too are tired of the frizz in the summer!

  • The Acure Ultra Hydrating Shampoo is what I start with. I never thought shampoo made that much of a difference, but I was so wrong! Not only does it keep my hair straight, it also prevents it from getting oily in between washes. It's super inexpensive too, only $10!
  • I really like Costco's Kirkland Moisture Conditioner. I think it's around $8 for a huge bottle. I apply it all throughout my hair and let it sit while I shave my legs. I used to only put it on my ends but I've started applying it in my whole head of hair and that seems to be what works the best.
  • I've used my fair share of frizz serums/creams/ leave in sprays but nothing has compared to Briogeo Farewell Frizz Rosarco Milk Leave in Conditioning Spray. It gives you the silkiest, softest hair, with no flyaways.
  • And the last tip is, blow dry hair on medium heat. I still dry it on high setting, just with medium heat. I guess this is probably no surprise but heat gives you more frizzies!  So using medium gets it dry but prevents it from getting frizzy and poofy. I let my hair air dry until it's about 85% dry, then blow it dry.

This is what works for me! Pretty easy tips and not a lot of products! Here's to having a frizz free summer!
